Kiah Treece, M.S., J.D.

Sustainability Coach + Chief Evergreenie

Kiah Treece Headshot

Kiah is an environmental scientist with over a decade of experience cultivating sustainable habits in herself and others. After earning a bachelor’s degree in geology and ecosystem science and policy from the University of Miami, she went on to get a master of science in interdisciplinary ecology from the University of Florida. Years of environmental consulting led her back to the classroom and she ultimately earned her J.D. with a certificate in environmental law.

While working at an environmental law firm in Miami, Kiah realized she wasn’t harnessing her passion for sustainability in a way that was meaningful—or truly sustainable. Since then, she has dedicated her energy to creating a more environmentally conscious lifestyle for her family and those around her. In addition to sharing tips and resources through The Evergreenie sustainability blog, Kiah is a contributor at Treehugger, The Spruce, Forbes Advisor, Think Save Retire, and Fit Small Business.
